Keith is a company and commercial lawyer who spent 25 years as a partner with national law firm, Shoosmiths.

He has advised a wide range of clients on company matters, including company formation and restructuring, sales and acquisitions, corporate finance and shareholders agreements as well as partnership issues and limited liability partnerships.

Keith also has extensive experience of commercial contracts from standard terms and conditions to distribution and agency arrangements, complex IT licensing arrangements and “cloud computing” agreements (all via a contract to build a landing module for a landing on Mars!)

He also lectures widely, live and online, to solicitors as part of their continuing professional development programme and provides in-house training courses for clients.

Keith’s attitude as a lawyer is that the law is complicated enough without lawyers making it any more complex or incomprehensible than it need be.  The lawyer must make sure his client is legally “safe”, or at least understands the risks, but above all else his job is to make sure the deal happens – as quickly as possible!

Out of the office, Keith is a keen golfer and avid supporter of Southampton FC.  He also enjoys cooking, wining and dining.  He lives in Milton Keynes with his wife, Linda.  They have two long-since grown-up sons.
